That does not match two other primary sources: FEMA's own Community Status Book for New York, dated September 14, 2026, lists Rockville Centre as a community participating in the National Flood Program with a regular program entry date of November 17, 1982 and a current effective map date of September 11, 2009, and the Village's own annex in the same county plan says it is in good standing with the NFIP with an ordinance that exceeds minimum requirements.
